kimik31pro.com is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system and no advertising. This page explains the small amount of data that does get processed when you visit, and what you can do about it.

1. Short version

We do not ask you for personal information and we do not sell it. Page views may be counted in aggregate, and our hosting provider keeps standard access logs for a short period for security and abuse prevention. Nothing on the site is used to build a profile of you or to target advertising at you.

2. Server logs

Like every website, our host records requests. A typical log entry contains the requested path, the time, the HTTP status, the referring page, a truncated IP address and the user-agent string. These records exist to keep the site online and to detect abuse. They are not combined with any other data to identify individual readers.

3. Analytics

If analytics is enabled, we use a privacy-respecting, cookie-free setup that reports aggregate page views, referrers and country-level location. It does not fingerprint devices or track readers across other websites. Where a script would place a cookie, we do not deploy it.

Note on third-party scripts. This site carries no advertising pixels, no social embeds and no cross-site trackers. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before the script goes live.

4. Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to local storage. Your browser may cache pages and styles for performance, which is a function of the browser, not of us. If you follow a link to an external site, that site's cookie policy applies from the moment you arrive.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for the limited processing described above is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f)). We keep that processing to the minimum needed for the purpose.

6. Retention

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short operational period and then discarded. Aggregate page-view counts contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Data is processed by our hosting and analytics providers as sub-processors, and only to the extent needed to serve the site. Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because the site holds no account records, most requests will resolve to "we hold no personal data about you" — but ask, and we will check.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not knowingly collect information from consumers under 16.

9. Children

The site is aimed at developers and technical readers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
